RAPPELLING DOUBLE RIVER / SOBO WATERFALL

East of Brasso Seco deep in the heart of the northern range on El Cerro del Aripo’s northern and steepest face is the Double River. At the trailhead, you can either hike or mountain bike along a muddy jeep trail through rainforests to Double River followed by a hike on a mountain trail towards Double River waterfall. It takes a steep ridgeline trail to get above the waterfall for rappelling. Descending the 25 meters Double River waterfall can be quite challenging but fun.
