EXPERIENCE THE CARIFTA GAMES 2025 IN TRINIDAD
Trinidad and Tobago proudly welcomes the 52nd edition of the CARIFTA Games, a cornerstone of Caribbean athletics that began in 1972.
Just one year later, Trinidad had the honour of hosting the Games for the first time in 1973, with legendary West Indies cricketer Michael Holding among the Jamaican athletes at the inaugural event. Since then, the twin island has hosted in 1987, 1991, 1998, and 2003—when Tobago took centre stage. As the Caribbean’s top young athletes return to our shores, visitors can also experience the vibrant energy of Trinidad beyond the stadium. From indulging in local street food like doubles and bake and shark, to exploring lush rainforests, waterfalls, and the world-famous Caroni Bird Sanctuary, there’s no shortage of things to do while soaking up the spirit of the Games. Check out the full event schedule and secure your tickets early to witness the future of Caribbean athletics in action—live and direct from Trinidad!
