Countdown to Cruise Season 2022/2023 in Trinidad and Tobago
After a two-year hiatus, the Trinidad and Tobago cruise season is expected to commence later this month. Trinidad will welcome its first cruise ship on November 21st 2022. Tobago will kick start the season one day earlier in Scarborough on November 20th 2022.
This season will run until April 2023, with Trinidad and Tobago expecting to receive a total of 71 cruise calls. 43 (61%) calls are expected at the Scarborough and Charlotteville ports in Tobago and 28 (39%) at the Cruise Ship Complex in Port of Spain, Trinidad.
A total of 126,962 passengers and 47,570 crew members are expected to visit our twin islands over the next six months.
This cruise season promises to be an exciting one for visitors as the Royal Caribbean cruise line is expected to berth in Port of Spain for 4 nights during our iconic Trinidad and Tobago Carnival 2023. The MSC Seashore, the largest cruise ship to visit the destination with a capacity of 5,877passengers and 4,540 crew, is expected to call at Port of Spain on November 30th 2022.
