📍 Sister's Road, Hardbargain, Williamsville.

Description

The Triveni Mandir is located along Sister's Road in the Williamsville community of Hardbargain. The mandir was given the name Triveni because it served as the meeting point for the settlements of Sister's Road, St. Julien, and Dyers Village. In India, Triveni refers to the confluence of the Ganga, Jamuna, and Saraswati, three holy rivers. The Triveni Mandir is a grand temple and great work of art. It is exquisitely decorated, with exterior waterfalls, fountains, and enormous elephant statues, and inside stained-glass windows and elaborate paintings by regional artisans. Additionally, it has a large main hall surrounded by the Raamdharbar and other shrines dedicated to various gods. The temple provides an opportunity for members and the surrounding neighborhood to engage in and learn about different elements of Hindu tradition and culture, including Bhajan singing, Indian dance, Indian music, and Chowtaal singing.
