📍 Off Tamana Road, Sangre Grande
Description
Mt. Tamana is famous for the extensive network of caverns located on its northern slope. A Silk Cotton tree stands beautifully at the entrance to one of the caves, its roots reaching down into the dark corners of the cave. On clear days, you may enjoy some amazing views over the Central Trinidad, the Northern Range, the Port of Spain, and the South from the summit of Mt. Tamana, which is often reached after just 45-minute hike. You can also see the lighthouse on Brigand Hill, Plum Mitan Road, in Manzanilla from some spots on the summit.
