What’s one hidden gem you recommend visiting or experiencing?
TS: I am all about people visiting 3 pools! It’s so easy to access and the payoff is really awesome 👏🏼. A twenty-minute walk up the Marianne River in Blanchisseuse gets you to 3 Pools. As its name suggests, this destination features 3 deep basins that were formed as the river plunged across a plateau over a steep rock shelf.
What is the best place to capture photos in Trinidad?
TS: My personal favorite is Las Cuevas Bay. There is so much opportunity for photography ranging from wildlife to surfing to sunsets 🌅. Truly one of the most beautiful beaches in the world 🌎

What’s your favourite place to eat in Trinidad?
TS: I would say my favourite place to eat is actually in Buccoo, Tobago. A little restaurant called La Tartaruga, offering Tobago’s best Italian restaurant in my opinion. The restaurant is named after the giant Leatherback turtles who nest nearby. Al fresco dining is available on their covered terrace or indoor restaurant.
What’s your favourite location in Trinidad to explore?
TS: I love to drive along the entire north coast road, stopping at different beaches along the way. It’s a great way to clear your mind and sightsee on our incredible coastline ☀️
Watch our episode of Tour Trinidad TV featuring northern coast sites and attractions including Fort Abercromby, Damien’s Bay and Avocat Waterfall.

What’s your favourite thing to do in Trinidad?
TS: Obviously go to the beach haha 😂. But a good shoutout would go to Bamboo Cathedral located in northwestern Trinidad 💚. I spend a lot of time there, going for walks and soaking up the fresh jungle air.
If you could recommend one eco-attraction, what would it be?
TS: I highly recommend participating in Leatherback turtle watching tours, it’s truly an amazing experience 🐢. Not to mention, it supports the organizations and individuals who participate in the conservation of sea turtles. So I definitely recommend turtle watching tours to support the species and people who give their lives to this cause!
