SPICY PINEAPPLE PORK CHOW

APPLE CHOW

INGREDIENTS 

  • 6 Granny Smith Apples
  • 3 Chadon Beni Leaves (Culantro)
  • 3 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 Tsp Lime Juice
  • 1 Dash Granulated Sugar
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • Black Pepper (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

METHOD

  1. Wash all ingredients.
  2. Cut Chadon Beni (Culantro) into fine pieces and set aside.
  3. Peel and cut Garlic into fine pieces and set aside.
  4. Cut Lime in half and extract juice.
  5. Cut Pepper (to desired heat) into fine pieces and set aside.
  6. In a bowl cut Apples to desired thickness ensuring to remove the core.
  7. Add Chadon Beni, Garlic and Pepper to bowl.
  8. Add Lime juice to bowl.
  9. Add a dash of granulated Sugar.
  10. Add Salt and Black Pepper to taste.
  11. Mix well making sure to incorporate all ingredients.
  12. Let the chow sit in refrigerator overnight. (8-10hrs)
